The final book illustrated by the celebrated British illustrator Edmund Dulac, which was printed the year after his death in 1953. This beautiful poem by the author of Paradise Lost tells the story of Comus, the son and cupbearer of the Roman god, Bacchus. Dulac's 6 delicate and moving watercolor illustrations perfectly encapsulate the tender majesty of Milton's iconic verse.
